Whether you are a merchant, association (i.e., school, church, university, club) or resident of this local community, being
here pays! The Town Web Portals concept is about "Turning The Internet Right Side Up", i.e., bringing it back to serve local communities. Town Web Portals is a
system that creates local community web sites and includes features our Members, Merchants and Associations want to use. We are a network
of web sites with a shared login and communications system. This web appliance pays you $$$ to voice your opinion(s) and to notify
other Members of what is happening where you live and work. Our 'eNewsPaper' inside the 'ImpartialPress' tab has both the ability to
syndicate and byline your content contributions, and you are paid by views versus advertising revenue. Not only are you paid for
contributing content, you are paid for monetizing your site(s) with our Ad Widget and for signing up new Merchant/Association advertisers.
You can even receive income by accident! A Member’s personal Id is randomly selected when a new Merchant or Association prospect
comes to our signup pages externally and subscribes without a Member Sponsor Id. With the Town Web Portals web appliance there is no
bureaucracy at the top, so the majority of its income goes to those Members who participate. It is also a framework in which the individual components
may be further developed.
How It Works
Merchants and Associations pay for our Ad Widget advertising and the use of our many features.
$40 of each signup or renewal moves into a pool to reward Member community content providers (news, reviews, commentary, events).
Another $40 of each signup or renewal moves into a pool for those Members who use our Ad Widget to monetize their web site(s).
If a Town Web Portals site does not currently exist where you live, our system can create one like this web site, customized to your locality
and outreach for what we call an Area Administrator (Area Admin). The Area Admin then utilizes the system to enlist what we call Area
Representatives (Area Reps). Information below explains how to become an Area Admin or Area Rep along with other ways Members may
participate in this community-based financial opportunity.
-
Start earning $$$ monetizing your web site(s) with our Ad Widget offer. After login click the link on the ‘Home’ page called
‘About Widget‘. We have three (3) different Ad Widgets to choose from: Standard Ad Widget, About You Widget or News Widget. Follow the
instructions and then Copy and Paste the code presented into any web page. Any time these Widgets are displayed on your web site(s),
you gain a point toward monthly income (see ‘Site Help‘ at ‘Home‘ page for detail). To add a Widget(s) with your Hub City embedded, be
sure to set up and apply the Widget(s) inside the TWPortals site in your locality, where you chose to join. For user IP resolution
remove the area tags in the link. This is not recommended yet as there is probably no TWPortals site in most Member areas. You will
instead get some non-regional ads. If there is not yet a TWPortals community portal site in your locality, find out how to ‘start one’
under the 'Sponsor A Merchant' heading below.
Any Member can add site content to earn $$$. After login, go inside the 'Forums’ tab and click upon any topic found under
the 'News and Commentary' section. This section has a regionalization bar, so you can create a new topic for any region, even globally,
then add your content. Add content to the Events Calendar and Merchant reviews too! Our assigned Area Admin will be overseeing and
exceptional content will be selected to appear in our 'eNewsPaper' inside the 'ImpartialPress' tab for further potential views.
A Member earns one (1) point against the pool each time someone views your content (‘Site Help’ topics at ‘Home’ page for more info.).
Click eShopping inside the ‘MarketPlace’ tab and you will find a link to a complete Amazon.com product directory and TWPortals
own multi-merchant directory. Both directories pay a percentage of consumer purchases back to TWPortals. When a Member is logged in,
their Member Id is automatically embedded to these directories. Make purchases using our eShopping system will add income to your
pocketbook (less 20% for our maintenance and tracking efforts). If purchases are made by a non-Member, we select a random Member Id to
receive the income credit.
Area Reps receive an additional $80 income for assisting and maintaining their Merchant and Association client(s); helping them
take full advantage of site‘s marketing features. If the Sponsor of a new Merchant/Association advertiser is not an Area Rep, the $80
income revolves to an Area Rep in the locality. If no Area Reps currently exist in the locality, the income moves to the Area Admin who
therefore handles the maintenance needs of the advertiser. If no Area Admin currently exists, responsibility will fall to the entity
explained under the ’How You Are Paid' heading listed below. It is recommended that the Area Rep list their contact phone number in
their Member profile and should make contact with the new advertiser immediately to learn and implement what categories in our system
they wish to list under and assist with their needs to take full advantage of Town Web Portals advertising features. An Area Rep with
web development and graphics design experience is most advantageous to properly help our advertisers. The Town Web Portals concept is
fueled by local Merchant and Association advertisers. We sell hosting services for them to
advertise and a medium to interact with potential customers. We provide tools for them to create their advertising content, but local
advertisers may not have time to fully create their site presence. When we say assist and maintain your clients, we mean helping them
to best utilize our system or correct any problems regarding the system. Assisting or referring them to those who can assist with their
content needs is most important. If that's you, then make additional income using our tools or yours to provide that content.
Click Start One Where You Live to learn
about becoming an Area Admin and running your own Town Web Portal. This page also lists the Member and Merchant/Association features,
so all should read it for an overview of our system features.
We Are Solely Supported By Local Merchant Advertising
If there are no new Merchant signups or renewals during any month, then there is no income to earn with your view points. Tell
the Merchants you shop with they should advertise where you go, and thank the Member Merchants with your business.
How You Are Paid
Payments are made via PayPal using the email address you provided upon joining. If you currently have a PayPal account make sure
your email address is the email address of your PayPal account (check or change your email address inside ’Manage Account‘ tab, ‘My
Settings). If you do not have a PayPal account, you will be prompted to join in
order to receive your payment(s). You also must provide us with a 1099 or Business Federal Id, or what ever is required where you live,
to receive payment(s) in excess of $600 per year. We understand we have a fiduciary responsibility to our Merchants/Associations and
Reps to see the above commitments are carried out. The owner of this web appliance has granted a conditional license to
Town Web Portals INC to fullfil this contract and collect and disseminate payments.
You can view both your personal payment activity and payment history by clicking the 'Manage Account' button.
Under the 'Activity' link you will find a Pay Button when payment is due. This occurs when your payment due is $40 or more and/or
we have your proper paper work on file.
If you do not claim this income within 90 days without cause, it is returned to the two pools mentioned above.
This web appliance is the sole property of its creator. Anyone that uses it understands that it is in beta testing and you
use it at your own risk. Just as the code belongs to its owner, what you do with it belongs to you. Whether you are any level of
Area Rep, your clients belong to you and are yours to keep or lose. Any Merchant/Association can change their Area Rep. Any Area Rep can
sell their accounts (i.e. their business). Area Admins can do the same. The company charged with maintaining the payment system does so
by agreement with the system owner. It can place Area Admins or replace Area Admins in neglected areas. It can appoint well performing
Area Reps to Rep Admin status. For any income you derive, both Town Web Portals INC and you have a responsibility for abiding by their
federal and state tax laws.
